CONCLUSION:
In
this paper, a new hybrid energy storage system for electric vehicles is
designed based on a Li-ion battery power dynamic limitation rule-based HESS energy
management and a new bi-directional DC/DC converter. The system is compared to
traditional hybrid energy storage system, showing it has significant advantage
of reduced volume and weight. Moreover, the ripple of output current is reduced
and the life of battery is improved.
